Real Estate Virtual Tours in Las Vegas: 3D vs. Video vs. 360, Costs & What Zillow Shows in 2026

5 min read

Search for a virtual tour in Las Vegas and you'll find three different things sharing one name: an interactive 3D tour, a guided video walkthrough, and a 360 photo tour. They cost different amounts, show up in different places, and solve different problems. Here's how to tell them apart and which one fits your listing.

QUICK ANSWER

A real estate virtual tour is any interactive or guided online experience that lets buyers explore a property before a showing. In Las Vegas, LV3D delivers Matterport 3D tours (minimum $150, priced at $0.11 per sq ft up to 3,000 sq ft), Zillow 3D Home tours ($150 to $225, with an interactive floor plan included), and professionally edited 4K video walkthroughs ($250, or $150 as an add-on). Since October 2025, Zillow no longer displays Matterport tours on its listings, so the right choice depends on where buyers will see your listing.

Key Takeaways

  • A virtual tour can be an interactive 3D tour, a video walkthrough, or a 360 photo tour, and each does a different job

  • Matterport 3D tours start at a $150 minimum and add a dollhouse view and measurements

  • Zillow 3D Home tours run $150 to $225 by square footage and include an interactive floor plan

  • Video walkthroughs start at $250, or $150 as an add-on to another service

  • Zillow removed Matterport tours from its listings in October 2025, so match the format to where buyers will see it

What Is a Real Estate Virtual Tour?

A real estate virtual tour lets a buyer explore a property online, on a phone, tablet, or computer, without being there. The phrase covers three common formats. A 3D tour is an interactive model the buyer navigates freely, room by room, often with a dollhouse view. A video walkthrough is a produced clip that guides the viewer through the home in a set order. A 360 photo tour connects panoramic photos taken from fixed points so the buyer can look around at each spot.

Agents use virtual tours to help out-of-town buyers evaluate a home, cut down on unnecessary showings, and give a listing more presence than a photo gallery alone.

3D Tours: Matterport vs. Zillow 3D Home

LV3D delivers both. A Matterport 3D tour captures the space in detail and produces a dollhouse view, measurements, and a fully interactive walkthrough, which suits larger or higher-priced homes. A Zillow 3D Home tour is quicker to produce, includes an interactive floor plan, and is built to display on Zillow listings.

Video Walkthroughs

A professionally edited 4K video walkthrough is the easiest virtual tour format to share on social media, in email, and on listing pages that accept video. It runs $250 on its own or $150 added to another service, for properties up to 5,000 sq ft, and it's included in the Legend Package ($499) alongside HDR photography, drone coverage, and 3 to 4 social media reels. What About 360 Photo Tours?

A 360 photo tour links panoramic images captured at fixed camera positions, so the viewer can look around from each position and jump between them. It's a lighter format than a 3D scan because it records images rather than depth data, which is why it doesn't produce a true dollhouse view or measurements. When you compare quotes, check what each tour type actually includes: depth data, dollhouse view, measurements, a floor plan, and hosting.

What Zillow Shows in 2026

In October 2025, Zillow announced it had removed Matterport 3D tours from listings on Zillow and StreetEasy. Zillow said Matterport's owner, CoStar, had declined to renew an API agreement and changed its terms; CoStar disputed that account. Zillow said it continues to support its own Zillow 3D Home tool and other 3D options.

What that means for a Las Vegas listing: a Zillow 3D Home tour displays on Zillow, while a Matterport tour still works as a shared link and on your own website and social channels. Many agents pick the format based on where they expect buyers to see the listing, and some listings use both.

How to Choose the Right Virtual Tour

  • Selling on Zillow first? Start with a Zillow 3D Home tour. It displays on Zillow and includes an interactive floor plan.

  • Larger or higher-priced home? A Matterport 3D tour adds a dollhouse view and measurements for buyers who want detail.

  • Marketing on social or email? A video walkthrough is the easiest format to share.

  • Want more than one? The Rock Star Package ($249) includes a Zillow 3D tour with 25 HDR photos, drone stills, and a floor plan for properties under 4,000 sq ft.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a real estate virtual tour?

A real estate virtual tour is an interactive or guided online experience that lets buyers explore a property before visiting. Common formats are 3D tours, video walkthroughs, and 360 photo tours.

How much does a virtual tour cost in Las Vegas?

At LV3D, a Matterport 3D tour is $0.11 per sq ft up to 3,000 sq ft (minimum $150) and $0.10 per sq ft above that. A Zillow 3D Home tour is $150 to $225 by square footage, or $75 to $150 as an add-on. A professionally edited 4K video walkthrough is $250, or $150 as an add-on.

What is the difference between a 3D tour and a 360 tour?

A 3D tour is built from a scan with depth data, so buyers can move freely through the space, see a dollhouse view, and take measurements. A 360 photo tour links panoramas from fixed points, so the viewer looks around at each stop but doesn't get the same navigable model.

Does Zillow show Matterport tours?

No. Zillow removed Matterport 3D tours from its listings in October 2025. A Matterport tour still works as a shared link and on your own website and social channels, and a Zillow 3D Home tour displays on Zillow.

Which virtual tour works best on Zillow?

A Zillow 3D Home tour is built for Zillow listings, and every Zillow 3D tour LV3D delivers includes an interactive floor plan.

Is a video walkthrough a virtual tour?

It can be. A video walkthrough is a guided virtual tour: the viewer watches a set path rather than choosing where to go. Many agents pair it with a 3D tour.

How long does virtual tour delivery take?

HDR photos, Zillow 3D tours, and schematic floor plans are typically delivered within 1 business day. Matterport 3D tours usually take 1 to 3 business days, depending on complexity.
